Hungerford Student on D75 Student Council

Tia B and Ryan D from the Hungerford site at New Dorp High School attended the November meeting of the city-wide D75 Student Council at the District offices in NYC with their teacher Frank Schiazza.

While at the meeting, Tia decided to run for Vice President of the entire D75 Student Council.

She wrote and delivered a speech for which she had no prior notice, in front of representatives from every school in D75.....AND SHE WON!

As a result,  a Hungerford student is one of the leaders of the District 75 Student Council.
